Beyond LIVE Mobile App is an app for K-Pop fans to stream their favorite artist’s concerts and other shows. This app is designed to ease K-Pop fans who want to watch the concert on their phone without going to the web browser. However, from what we see, the app is still far from being a standard streaming app.
Therefore, after going through our own research, having the survey, and doing the interview, we came out with these pain points to be solved.
No onboarding or login/sign-up page at the beginning
When the users open the app, they will be directed immediately to the landing page. And then, when you want to access pages like MY Beyond (shows collection), settings, inquiries, and the other pages, they required us to sign in first, which is a bit frustrating.

Unclear and undescriptive navigation
When you open the app, there’s only one page which is the landing page, and there’s no hamburger menu or navigation bar for the user to navigate the app. Users only have two navigation button which is placed at the top right side of the layout.
The first button has our profile picture as the icon, so here’s where we can go to our concert collections and modify our account or send an inquiry. And the second icon is a globe icon to change the language of the app.

No option to buy the concert ticket (In-app purchase is not available)
The in-app purchase is not available, so users have to purchase the ticket on the web. Users have to do another login on the web so that they can purchase the ticket.
After purchasing the ticket, they will be given a code. The given code needs to be keyed in and verified before we can watch the concert, thus making the whole process of ticket purchasing very time-wasting and not efficient.

Difficult to find a particular concert/show
Users are difficult to find a particular concert or show. They actually have this thing called Beyond LIBRARY, which is the collection of all the past shows. That section displays the show’s poster, but it can’t be clicked or accessed, so basically it's just a poster. Moreover, there’s no search option, which is a bit frustrating.
